Inspection report digest
Turns the day's site inspection reports into one digest of findings, open items and anything that needs a decision.
30 17 * * 1-5Read every inspection report filed today in <FOLDER OR INBOX LABEL>. For each report, extract: site or asset, inspector, date, items inspected, findings, severity (critical / major / minor) and any required action with its owner and due date. Then write one digest: (1) critical findings first, with the exact wording from the report, (2) open actions grouped by owner, (3) items that are overdue from earlier reports, (4) a short list of decisions needed from me. Quote report names and page numbers so I can check the source. Do not change severity ratings and do not mark anything as closed.Replace anything in <ANGLE BRACKETS> with your own details. Review outputs before letting an agent send, buy or delete anything.
Works with any agent
Steps
- Copy the prompt and fill in the parts in angle brackets.
- Paste it into whatever agent you already use: a chat assistant, a coding agent, an automation tool, or a script that calls any model API.
- Schedule it (every weekday at 5:30 pm). Use the agent's own scheduler if it has one, otherwise run it from cron with the expression below.
- Give it only the access it needs (inbox, calendar, repo, sheet) and keep sends, purchases and deletes behind your approval.
- Review the first two runs, tweak the prompt, then let it run.
