Site safety daily
A morning safety brief for each site from yesterday's incident logs, permits, weather and today's planned work.
0 7 * * *Prepare today's safety brief for <SITE LIST>. Inputs: yesterday's incident and near-miss log at <LOG LOCATION>, active work permits at <PERMIT REGISTER>, today's work plan at <PLAN LOCATION>, and the weather forecast for each site. For each site output: (1) incidents and near misses from the last 24 hours with status, (2) permits expiring today or already expired, (3) today's higher-risk activities (work at height, lifting, hot work, excavation, confined space) and the controls listed in the plan, (4) weather that could affect those activities. Keep each site under 150 words. Flag anything missing from the inputs instead of guessing. Do not approve or extend permits.
Replace anything in <ANGLE BRACKETS> with your own details. Review outputs before letting an agent send, buy or delete anything.
Works with any agent
Steps
- Copy the prompt and fill in the parts in angle brackets.
- Paste it into whatever agent you already use: a chat assistant, a coding agent, an automation tool, or a script that calls any model API.
- Schedule it (every day at 7 am). Use the agent's own scheduler if it has one, otherwise run it from cron with the expression below.
- Give it only the access it needs (inbox, calendar, repo, sheet) and keep sends, purchases and deletes behind your approval.
- Review the first two runs, tweak the prompt, then let it run.
